How to make cosplay wings?

4. Decorative feathers: Most people choose white feathers. It is recommended to use simulated duck feathers, acrylic paint, and glitter glue to enhance the visual effect of the entire wing.

2.Wing making

It is recommended to make angel wings for beginners. The production difficulty is not high, simple and convenient. Here are the detailed steps for you:

1. First draw the outline of the wings on the EVA board. It is recommended that the length should not be too long. The length of a single wing should not exceed 80cm. If it is too long, it is easy to touch others and inconvenience.

2. After drawing, cut it down, bend the aluminum wire along the outline into the main frame, and fix the intersection with straps. Then paste it from bottom to top, indenting 2cm for each layer to imitate the layering of feathers. At the same time, use a hair dryer to heat the edge of the foam board to make it bend naturally (precise control is required), which can make people feel more realistic.

3. Finally, use a utility knife to carve out the feather texture. Using an angled notch can simulate the natural arrangement of the barbules, which can make the wings look more natural. Then spray white primer to cover the original color of the EVA foam, and fill the notch burrs to make it feel smoother.

3.Attention to details

Please wear protective gloves throughout the actual operation to avoid injury.

Please use glue in a well-ventilated environment.
